Welsh Food Fortnight

The seventh British Food Fortnight took place from 20 September to 5 October 2008 during Harvest Festival, the traditional time for celebrating our food. There were lots of activities in Wales with Welsh Food Fortnight flying the flag for Welsh food as part of the national promotion.

The diverse and delicious range of food produced in Wales was celebrated with promotions and tastings in shops, all-Welsh menus in pubs and restaurants, food and cookery lessons in schools and glorious food festivals. All the information about Welsh Food Fortnight is on this website.
