Contacting the media

Taking part in British Food Fortnight is a good opportunity to gain some local publicity for your shop, pub, restaurant or school. Many establishments taking part in previous year’s events have been featured in their local papers and radio and some have even been featured on television.

For retailers and caterers, media coverage is an important means of attracting new customers and increasing sales.

For schools, it is an excellent way of thanking teachers, parents and children for their involvement.
